Be Still

Hey girls!
I hope this note finds everyone doing exceptionally well, warm, and with electricity! I know that things seem to get so very hectic this time of year...you have finals coming up, school performances and concerts, and of course...the Christmas shopping! It is so easy to get caught up in the fast-paced rush to get things done. I just want to encourage you these next few weeks to take a minute and remember what this time of year is truly about. The lights and presents are wonderful, but it means nothing without our Savior. As you do your quiet times, really take the time to be quiet. I know I am as guilty as anyone about rushing through my quiet times and not stopping to simply listen to what the Father wants to tell me. It is not easy to sit without our minds wandering in a million different directions, but if we will just focus our hearts and minds on the one who created all, I guarantee He will share some pretty amazing things!

I love you girls so very much and Ben and I are praying for each of you to go out and be just what God has called has called you to be.

"Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him" - Psalm 37:7a

Go out and be God's!

Waterloo Girls!!!

Hey Girls!
First of all, let me just tell you how incredibly excited I am that Ben and I are here at Waterloo Road. You girls will never know how much of a blessing you have already been in my life! Each and everyone of you are so very precious!

We have set up this blog space just for you! My prayer is that this would be a place you can come for encouragement, laughter, and support!

I firmly believe that God is going to do great things in our youth group, and I want each one of you to be a part of it. We are going to have many events that are just for girls! I hope these times will allow us to continue to grow together as we grow in Christ. Please know that our door is always open...anytime, day or night. I look forward to sharing more with you, and at the same time, hearing what you have to say!

Go out and be God's!
